Julien Montavont (Ph.D., University of Strasbourg) is an Assistant Professor at the University of Strasbourg since 2007 and a member of the Network research group at the ICube laboratory (UMR CNRS 7357). His research interests focus on designing and optimizing communication protocols for wireless networks, with a particular emphasis on MAC and routing protocols, SDN/programmable networks, mobility management, and multihoming. He also has extensive experience in network experimentation and simulations. Dr. Montavont has co-authored over 30 international journal and conference articles, and participated in or led more than 15 national or local research projects. He regularly serves as a TPC member and external reviewer for renowned journals and conferences. Since June 2024, he is the co-head of the Network Research Group at ICube.
